Valentine’s Day Candy Sundae

Materials Needed: Sundae glass, stick candy of choice, red and silver Hershey’s chocolate kisses, Life Savers, curling ribbons, pipe cleaners or thin stem wire, scissors and wire cutters.

1. Purchase a Sundae glass of your choice, below is a traditional dessert glass. These can sometimes be found in thrift shops for pocket change.

2. Fill your Sundae glass with red and silver Hershey’s chocolate kisses.

3. Add your stick candy to mimic a straw.

4. Top your sundae with life savers to resemble whipped cream securing them if necessary with glue dots or double-sided tape as necessary.

5. Prepare curling ribbons of colors that correspond with the kisses wrappers. You can also buy ready-made curl swirls.

6. Take a piece of pipe cleaner or thin stem wire and tightly wrap it around the middle of the curling ribbons from step a). Curl the ribbons by pulling them over the edge of the scissors.

7. Insert the curling ribbons in the glass. Your beautiful and tasty Valentine Candy Sundae is ready to give to a loved one!
